Cullarin Joint Venture
(EL 6292 – right to earn 51% interest)
Potential

The Cullarin Joint Venture with Golden Cross Operations Pty Ltd has the potential to become a Woodlawn look-alike, or at the very least a source of supplementary ore for the Woodlawn project.

The project area has demonstrated potential for VMS type deposits, intrusive related porphyry deposits and associated skarns. Drilling by previous explorers within the joint venture area has identified several high priority prospects where follow-up drilling will be undertaken to verify many reported, potentially ore grade intercepts. Numerous other targets also require systematic follow-up.

The joint venture is a significant achievement for Tri Origin in that it now controls a major zinc province within the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales and is able to take a long term view in its exploration strategy. Upon earning its interest the Company would control approximately 60 kilometres strike length of the Woodlawn Volcanics or equivalent Silurian age rocks that are highly prospective for zinc and associated base and precious metals.

Location

Thirty kilometres north of the Woodlawn mining lease, SML 20.

Status

The joint venture with Golden Cross Operations Pty Ltd incorporates EL 6292 and part of EL 6686.

Under the agreement, Tri Origin will earn a 51 percent interest in the JV by spending $200,000 over a period of up to four years.

All historical data have been incorporated into a validated database and mineralisation modelled in three dimensions. Initial drill targets have been defined and drilling is a priority for 2007.
